There are many pockets Pau Walters can step into, having learned many different languages from moving with his family. Born in Palma de Mallorca "en el mediterráneo" like Serrat, and later moved to Elvas Portugal at a very young age. When he finished school he went to university in Barcelona to study Fine Arts, but discovered his true passion was music, and was more engaged with developing his rap songs and learning about sound engineering and music production than his Fine Arts Degree. After dropping out of university, Pau decided to produce for artists, building a home studio wherever he could, rapping, singing, producing, recording, mixing or collaborating with many of Barcelona's local acts such as NLess, Pigeon Attack, releasing Home City Love, Viaje, and more with Small Circle, creating Atrapados En La Esencia del Tiempo with one of his closest friends Matick, and being a vocalist in the band DAMARE! For the past year releasing singles such as Grate, Cnidaria and now Miento/Viento a modern GFunk song. Releasing his mixtape Avant Garde vol.1 inspired by the European vanguard movement of the XX century, painters such as Picasso, Dali, Andy Warhol, Basquiat, etc... Avant Garde is the first part of my mixtape saga inspired by classic HipHop tapes such as The Carter by Lil Wayne, the Blueprint series and many more, where themes such as fascism, spirituality, re-telling of classic mythology and sexuality and much more. Blending different subgenres such as cloud rap, classic Hip Hop, Trap, drumless tracks, experimental and much more. No rules, no limits, no taboos!
